This masonry building makes ample use of ashlar in the corners, openings and the basket-handle arch which opens up to the arcade, where the Herriko Tavern is located.

Rebuilt in 1817, the main façade presents three levels and the corresponding three levels of openings. The following inscription can be read on the balcony’s dintel:

"YSPASTER TOWN HALL FOR USE AS A MILITARY HOSPITAL FOR VOLUNTEERS IN VIZCAYA IN 1813 BURNED DOWN BY THE FRENCH DURING THE WAR AND REBUILT BY YSPASTER IN 1817.
