Grouped together on a flat area of the mountainside, this collection of farmhouses presents examples of the various types of rural buildings which can be see throughout the region. Although they all have pitched roofs and a wide arcade in the middle of the façade, some have an arch (Beitxi), with a wooden dintel (Gallete Erdikoa) and framework (Atx Aurrekoa). However, none is as old as Atxaurre, which preserves its impressive stone wall with three loophole windows on the rear façade.
