San Martin Hermitage

Not far from Aixeder Windmill, on raised ground, is the humble building of San Martin Hermitage. Its rectangular floor plan and pitched roof is built onto a farmhouse. With ashlar being used for the corners, the façade is masonry. The support columns on either side of the entrance display engravings of a number of crosses. There are two loophole windows and a dinteled window. The cement belfry houses a bell. A fire in 1984 destroyed all the furnishings, including a wooden sculpture of Saint Martin.
